Responsibilities:
This is a 3rd shift position (11 p.m. - 7 a.m.)
Change over and set-up molding jobs consistent with process control capabilities and quoted standards
Evaluate molding processes in order to update techniques and improve quality and productivity efficiencies
Effective "Step by Step" troubleshooting
Completely responsible for part containment
Keep work area clean
Report incidents and injuries to team leader/manager immediately
Recognize close-call incidents and safety hazards and take action to eliminate them
Use equipment properly and follow the safety features/operating procedures
Wear applicable personal protective equipment
Follow applicable safety, quality, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures
Actively participate in continual improvement, corrective action, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:
Pass entry assessments for Mold Tech Development program and agree to participate in the Mold Tech Development Program
High School diploma or equivalency, Associate degree preferred
Exposure to automated work cells, robotics, and closed loop systems, helpful
Skills / Competencies
Exhibit a high degree of leadership and technical skill
Excellent basic math skills
Ability to read blueprints
Basic computer knowledge
Complete knowledge of machine process variables and how each affects part characteristics
Strong commitment to quality
Be self-directed with excellent organizational, communication, time management, and problem solving skills
Must be comfortable working in a "Team" environment
